The location of Chalet Sapphire is one of a kind. Moments from the centre of Morzine the gated grounds offer exceptional access to the ski area as well as privacy and stunning views. Plus, only a 5-minute level walk to the bars, restaurants and boutiques of the village centre.

The closest ski lift, Super Morzine is just 500m away, taking less than 3 minutes in a chauffeured vehicle. The high altitude skiing of Avoriaz is best accessed from the Prodains Telepherique which is a 8-minute drive away. Chalet Sapphire enjoys easy access to Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz that all form part of the gigantic Portes du Soleil – one of the largest ski areas in the world.

Morzine is at the heart of the Portes du Soleil, a vast ski area with statistics to dwarf other resorts. There are 650km of groomed runs – the largest linked ski area in the world – taking in 12 traditional towns and villages across both France and Switzerland. The unique selling point of the Portes du Soleil is the on-snow experience. Pistes of every orientation from high altitude powder bowls to beautiful winding tree-lined runs down into the villages; not to mention the limitless off-piste. There’s something for every ability from those learning for the very first time, through to the seasoned skier looking for the ultimate challenge.

Chalet Sapphire is furnished to an exceptional standard- we are the perfect place for you to relax and unwind after a jam-packed day of activities. The chalet is devised over split-levels, allowing you to escape into privacy and enjoy some downtime. The home is extremely functional with high-quality fittings and fixtures, no attention to detail has been overlooked.

When it’s time to turn in for the night the bedrooms here will not disappoint. The two stunning Master Suites have incredible ceiling heights to show off the exceptional mountain views. Each room has its own USP, some have dressing rooms or freestanding baths and others have walk-in drench showers. There are no short straws here though. Every room has a super-king bed that can split to twin beds as required, so whatever the makeup of your group, you’ll be covered.

During downtime hours, guests are welcomed and encouraged to take full advantage of our wellness area which is a fully equipped gym, cinema and spa. This area has been designed to provide ultimate relaxation and to be the most luxurious in-chalet spa experiences in the Alps.

Our spa offers an indoor counter-current swimming pool, steam room, ice room and a private massage and relaxation area. We take pride in offering only the best products that nourish the skin using organic and botanic natural ingredients. Guests can choose from a range of massage and beauty treatments by a Bamford-trained therapist.

Chalet Sapphire offers a vast range of outdoor amenities too, you’ll be able to ease muscle pain in our outdoor hot tub and barrel sauna. For the ultimate star-gazing spot guests can cosy up inside the sunken fire pit to unwind from a day of activities. The wellness area has been specifically designed to create the perfect sanctuary for personal wellbeing, leaving no excuses for aching muscles!
